Episode 12 - Is it ok to lie? The Three Billy Goats Gruff

So, in the comments let us know a situation where you think it is ok to lie. You have to prove that the good that will come from the lie will outweigh anything bad that might happen from the lie.

If you're not too familiar with the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff you can read or listen to a version of it here.

Option 1: Write an alternative ending where none of the goats had to lie, they all survived AND the troll got to eat something for breakfast.

Option 2: Write the story from the troll's perspective. After all, he was just sleeping and trying to eat in order to survive. Did he deserve to get washed away to sea?

Option 3: Re-write the story with different characters. A bit like Axel did.

Option 4: Retell the story as an animation. This Cybersmart Challenge will help you animate.

We need your ideas for the Ako Hiko Podcast.

Tell us about your idea for a podcast episode. You don't have to actually do the whole podcast episode on the Flipgrid, just say what your idea is and why you think it will make a good episode. If your idea is chosen I will come to your school and record it with you.

Introducing...

"What is a podcast?" I hear some of you ask. Well it's a bit like a TV show except there's only sound, no pictures. So I guess it's more like the radio, expect because it's on the internet you can listen to it whenever you like!

This term Ako Hiko students are going to have a go at making some podcasts. So get your thinking hats on and decide what you'd like to hear on the podcast.
